Kong Book Fair from 23rd-29th July 2008, with a 20% discount on all
books. We are at

BOOKS + CHA
During the week of the Hong Kong International Literary Festival,
take the opportunity to meet the people behind some of the most creative
books in Hong Kong while enjoying cups of some of the best tea in the
world. Publishers, writers and visual artists will share some of the
secrets of their work.
Presented by Independent Publishers of Hong Kong,
Lock Cha Teahouse, Mackie Study and Pumpernickel.
Saturday 17th March, 6:30-8:30pm, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Wan Chai.
Free of charge, tea and refreshments on consumption basis.

HOURS!
As part of the City Festival 2007, the Independent Publishers of Hong Kong
invite you to the Fringe Club on Saturday 13th January. Just drop
in any time from noon to midnight, write or draw your Hong Kong and help
us create a book in 12 hours. Free entry, all welcome. Click here

'TWAS THE MONTH BEFORE
CHRISTMAS
Independent Publishers of Hong Kong
takes part in the Standard Chartered Book Festival 2006 in Victoria
Park, Causeway Bay, Nov 17-19 and Nov 24-26. Hours are 12-9 pm, 12-10 pm
on Saturdays. There will be a book fair, a reading garden (with a cafe,
workshops and seminars) and an art promenade. Admission is free.
You are invited to a special Party in the Park on Saturday

BOOK FAIR
Independent Publishers of Hong Kong is exhibiting at the Hong Kong
Book Fair 2006, the biggest event on Hong Kong's publishing calendar. All
readers are welcome. Come and see our books at Booth 2A09 in Hall Two, HKCEC, from

INDEPENDENTS' DAY
Independent Publishers of Hong Kong,
a new collaboration of five Hong Kong presses, presents a new vision for the
Hong Kong publishing industry: books with
an independent voice, yet publishers with a united one. The newly founded
group, with members printing in Chinese and English, works collectively and
non-competitively to create innovative ways to bring its wide range of
fine-quality books to the public.
